Winter is here and everyone is hitting the gym to make sure they look amazing for next years swim suit season! Now that you have your gym membership and know what weights and cardio you are doing…how do you pack a proper gym bag? Here are some tips for you
Have the Right Gym Bag!
Having the right gym bag can make a world of a difference. First it has to be cute AND functional! It should have lots of pockets to carry your sweaty clothes, shoes, toiletries and even a zippered pocket for your personal accessories.
Pack it Properly!
Make sure to pack your gym bag with things you will always need such as these:
- Hair Ties
- Body Wash
- Facial Wipes
- Facial Products
- SPF if you are working out outdoors
- iPod and headphones
and of course a hot dress and heels for heading out on the town after your trip to the gym!
Sexy Gym Attire
Having a nice workout outfit will make any sweat session much better. Personally I love working out in a top that sucks everything in and makes me feel trim already! I wear yoga pants too a lot of the time since they fit snuggly and are comfortable. Always wear socks with your gym shoes so they absorb the moisture from your sweaty feet and help with that smelly foot order in your shoes! I take a light hoodie with me as well since I like to layer my clothes and then peel each layer as I get hot.
After workout meals
Be sure to pack a quick protein based snack just in case you wont be able to eat within an hour after working out. Here are some high protein snacks:
- Package of Almonds
- High Protein Bar
- Peanut Butter with an apple
- Protein Powder or Drink
