Aziza – the Afghan Princess had the most traditional Muslim wedding that I have ever been apart of. My husband Ken and I had the joy of working with Aziza and her family during the 3 day event Ken was the photographer and I was her hair and makeup artist. Rupel and her husband Adam were definitely meant for each other. They had the most perfect wedding from Adam riding a white horse all the way up State St. in downtown Chicago to Rupel watching from the top floor Here are some pictures of Rupel getting ready for her big wedding day and I had the honor of doing her hair and makeup and dressing for her.

I love inspirations! I actually found this picture of Ash Rai AFTER I did this photoshoot!! HAHA!! Made me laugh cause I did this photo shoot from the top of my head

I did her hair, makeup and dupatta/jewelry setting AND the Ash Kumar glitter design!

Everything comes together for Selvi

Ms Selvi got married over the Thanksgiving holiday in India to her sweetheart Deepak. So they had their amazing wedding in India and then had another mini-wedding and reception here in the USA so their friends could enjoy as well! My camera was giving me some problems so the pictures didnt come out as well as I wanted them to…until the professional ones – here are some that I took with my not so good camera….

This is Selvi with her reception look- we did more natural makeup since Selvi hardly wears makeup. For her hair we did nice curls with her hair half up on the side with flowers that we got from the garland that Deepka gave her during their wedding cermony…made everything come together

Training in London with Mr Ash Kumar

I am currently in London this week and next studying under Mr Ash Kumar – what a ADVENTURE!!! He is such an amazing guy and such a wonderful teacher! Im currently learning his techniques on henna makeup and hair! If you dont know anything about Mr Ash Kumar – just google him! He is the worlds fastest henna artist and has done his work for Madonna, Julia Roberts, and Tons of Bollywood stars!!
